My fondest for black turtlenecks has been remarked upon several times now. Touch my monkey!
David Hockney’s Long Road From Los Angeles to Yorkshire - NYTimes.
I don’t know why the sight of Hockney using a Wacom on a Mac with photoshop amuses me so much - but it does!
There are still a dozen or so tomatoes left, and like this one, I’m not sure they are going to turn red. And yet, the are still sweeter than store-bought.
After a lifetime of hinting to my mom that this poncho would look just perfect on me, she finaly conceded that she never wore it and broke down and gave it to me. It’s a true vintage 60s suede patchwork poncho and while generally ponchos are not my style, this one always seemed so cool when I was little (and no, it does not have fringe. Thank god.) And now I am the proud own of a very cool poncho - that I never wear. Why? Because it’s a poncho.
Other than my rain poncho, I just don’t often have occasion for ponch-wearing. Except today.
I was determined I was going to actually wear this out in public or I was finally going to have to clear it out of my closet too. Of course this one, while treated, isn’t exactly rain-friendly. So this is me waiting out the rain.
I really need to take my computer in for repair. However it’s not a laptop which means I have to actually pack this sucker up. Against all good sense, I’m procrastinating.
So I only got to take one picture with the in-camera memory (I used up the other shots) and it sucks mightily. But as I was also not feeling creative it looks almost exactly like yesterday’s only somewhat crappy picture. So you can look at that one agian.
